Figure skating Kira Ivanova found dead
Kira Ivanova, a famous figure skater and medal winner of the 1984 Olympics in Saraevo, was found dead today in her Moscow home. |
The police authorities announced that the ex-athlete's body was covered by multiple knife wounds and was discovered by her neighbours. Forensic experts established that Ivanova died two days ago. A criminal investigation has been started. |
After finishing her sporting career Kira Ivanova has done some film acting, worked with Igor Bobrin's Ice Ballet company and as a coach in the Dynamo club. |
