Judo Javara-Neva wins Russian championship
Final results of the Russian judo championship which finished yesterday in Novocheboksarsk are published. 5 out of 7 golden medals in men's tournamens won representatives of the president club Javara Neva, confirming their high European status, SE-Internet correspondent Boris TITOV reports. |
Besides, the competitions in Chuvashia were marked by a strong presence of young sportsmen. In comparison to the last year Olympic season over the half of the composure of golden medallists has changed completely. Country's coaches will have to define the optimal squad among the present winners for the Europe championship-2002 training. The championship is planned for May, 2002, Slovenia. Till that time candidates for Lublana competitions will try themselves in series of international tournaments of the high category. |
