Water polo Uralochka’s players are the best in Russia in five generations
The youth team Uralochka-Spartak (Zlatoust) has followed their older colleagues' (four times Russian champions) example and won finals of the country's championship in Dzerzhinsk for the second time, SE-Internet correspondent Boris TITOV reports. |
When defining the winners' team for the finals Uralochka's chief coach Mikhail Nakoryakov has encountered a big problem - he needed 12 players for the tournament, and found 30 almost equally strong candidates. That wasn't strange - during the year 2001 players of Zlatoust club have won golden medals in Russian championships in all age categories. |
