Judo St. Petersburg is leading in the prize race

St. Petersburg sportsmen won two out of four medals in the first day of the Russian championship, which took place in Novocheboksarsk (Chuvashia), SE-Internet correspondent Boris TITOV reports.

Europe-2001 club champion (in Javara-Neve) Evgeny Stanev, who is standing in the extra lightweight group (below 60 kg) showed his best as well as the debutante of the women's championship 18-year old Ludmila Bogdanova - below 52 kg. Stanev's clubmate from Javara-Neve Universiada-2001 champion Magomed Jaffarov from Makhachkala (below 66 kg) and vice-champion of Olympic games-2000 Lubov Bruletova (below 48 kg) confirmed their high rank.
