Амаре Стадемайр завершил карьеру

Американский форвард Амаре Стадемайр объявил о завершении карьеры. Последним клубом баскетболиста стал "Хапоэль", в составе которого он стал чемпионом Израиля.

"Когда прошлым летом я решил уйти из НБА и присоединиться к "Хапоэлю", я хотел помочь этой команде выиграть второй чемпионат в истории клуба. Я горжусь тем, что мы достигли не только этой цели. Достигнув трех финалов, из которых мы выиграли два, выиграв личный приз All Star Game MVP Award, я могу назвать этот сезон поистине замечательным. Я горжусь тем, что этот сезон стал одним из лучших в истории этой команды. Это было отличное приключение для меня и моей семьи. Нам понравился город, люди, святые места и поклонники "Хапоэля".

Я хотел вернуться и провести еще один сезон, но я, команда и тренер не смогли найти для меня роли, которая позволила бы мне приносить такую пользу, какую я привык приносить. Я чувствую, что сейчас пришло время вернуться к деятельности акционера и помочь сделать эту команду еще лучше. Я хотел бы поблагодарить президента команды за то, что мне дали возможность завершить карьеру в статусе чемпиона. Я желаю моим товарищам по команде, друзьям и болельщикам отличного сезона в будущем", - написал Стадемайр на своей странице в Инстаграме.
